So when Jessica Hayes of Aurora, Colorado, was spring cleaning recently, she says says that she didn't think of the potential for danger when she pushed her couch out of the way, against the wall and under a window in her third- story apartment. Also on Shine: Child-Proofing Tips to Protect Your Kids in Home Dan... While she was shampooing the carpets and her mom was helping out in the kitchen, her 4-year-old son, Dylan, climbed up on the couch to chat with a downstairs neighbor through the window. As he leaned against the flimsy screen, it gave way and he fell three stories, landing on the rock-covered ground below. Also on Shine: Danger on the Playground? Riding the Slide with Your... "My mom was cleaning our fridge out and, all of a sudden, I hear her screaming, 'Dylan just went out the window!'" Hayes told KCNC-TV, a CBS News affiliate in Denver, on Sunday. She ran down the stairs, panicked. "I was terrified," she said. "I didn't know what I was going to see when I got down to the ground floor." But, instead of the nightmare she was expecting, her preschooler was just standing there, apparently unhurt. According to CBS News, the little boy fell through the window's screen, did two somersaults in the air, and landed on his feet on the gravel. "I heard a crash and the next thing I know I just saw a blur," neighbor Pat Roush told KCNC. "It was just red and blue"—the colors of the Superman T- shirt Dylan was wearing. "I falled," confirmed the boy. "Really, really far." He spent about 20 hours in the hospital, wearing a neck brace as a precaution, but doctors released him, saying he had barely a scratch on him. He's not even traumatized by the event, though he does caution other kids to "not open windows." His mom, on the other hand, was so shaken up by the event that she's moved out of the third-floor apartment and is living with a relative. "It's gotten easier to not blame myself since it happened two weeks ago," she told KCNC. "I wish the danger would have crossed my mind, but it didn't." She says she's speaking out now, in the hope that other parents will be more aware of the dangers than she was. She's looking for a new home on the first floor, she told the news station, and says that she feels "beyond lucky" that Dylan survived the 30-plus-foot fall. "There had to have been angels watching over him," his grandmother, Kelli Hayes, agreed.

Agency on Monday arrested 26-year-old Igwe
Ogbonna for possessing 630 grammes of cocaine
hidden inside two pairs of sandals and his luggage.
The discovery was made at the Murtala Mohammed
International Airport Lagos while Ognonna was
attempting to board a Kenyan Airways flight to
 India.
According to the NDLEA Airport commander, Mr
Hamza Umar, the suspect wore one pair of the
sandals while another pair of sandals containing
 drug was in his luggage.
Umar said, "The suspect was arrested following the
discovery of the drug during a routine search.
Officers first found some cocaine inside the pair of
sandals Ogbonna wore at the screening area.
"During the search, some quantities of cocaine
were equally found in another pair of sandals and
inside his luggage. He was found with 630
grammes of cocaine hidden inside two pairs of
 sandals and in his luggage.
Ogbonna told PUNCH Metro that he was travelling
to India to further his studies.
He said, "I was advised to further my education in
India since I had an uncle living there. They gave
me only 700 dollars, still I was excited because I
have always wanted to further my education.
"I was directed to Lagos from the East after my
travel documents had been prepared and the bag
and pairs of sandals handed over to me.
"The people who advised me also instructed me to
wear one of the sandals, so I felt bad when the drug
 was detected."
Chairman of the agency, Ahmadu Giade, said that
efforts were being made to arrest other persons
 connected to the crime.
He said, "The agency is working to identify other
suspects who are involved in this criminal act.
"I also wish to state that members of the public
should be careful when people offer to sponsor
them abroad. Investigation has since commenced
and the suspect will soon be charged to court."

His last surgery was on December 11 and he had not been seen in public since."We have just received the most tragic and awful information. At 4.25 p.m. (03.55 p.m. EST) today March the 5th, President Hugo Chavez Frias died," Vice President Nicolas Maduro announced in a televised address, his voice choking."It's a moment of deep pain," he said in the address, in which he appeared with senior ministers.Chavez easily won a new six-year term at an election in October and his death will devastate millions of supporters who adored his charismatic style, anti-U.S. rhetoric and oil-financed policies that brought subsidized food and free health clinics to long-neglected slums.Detractors, however, saw his one-man style, gleeful nationalizations and often harsh treatment of opponents as traits of an egotistical dictator whose misplaced statist economics wasted a historic bonanza of oil revenues.Chavez's death opens the way for a new election that will test whether his socialist "revolution" can live on without his dominant personality at the helm.VICE PRESIDENT MADURO FAVORITE TO WIN ELECTIONThe vote should be held within 30 days and will likely pit Maduro against Henrique Capriles, the centrist opposition leader and state governor who lost to Chavez in the October election. One recent opinion poll gave Maduro a strong lead.Maduro is Chavez's preferred successor, enjoys support among many of the working class and could benefit from an inevitable surge of emotion in the coming days. But the president's death could also trigger in-fighting in a leftist coalition that ranges from hard-left intellectuals to army officers and businessmen.Venezuela has the world's largest oil reserves and some of the most heavily traded bonds, so investors will be highly sensitive to any signs of political instability.A defeat for Maduro would bring major changes to Venezuela and could also upend its alliances with Latin American countries that have relied on Chavez's oil-funded largesse - most notably with communist-led Cuba, which recovered from financial ruin in the 1990s thanks largely to Chavez's aid.Chavez was a garrulous figurehead for a global "anti-imperialist" alliance stretching as far as Belarus and Iran, and he will be sorely missed by anti-U.S. agitators.Maduro said he would ensure the future of Chavez's work."We call on all compatriots to guarantee the peace. We, his civil and military compatriots, assume the legacy of Hugo Chavez," Maduro said."His project, his flags will be raised with honor and dignity. Commander, thank you, thank you so much, on behalf of these people whom you protected."After the cancer was diagnosed in June 2011, Chavez went through several cycles of disappearing from the public eye for weeks at a time for treatment in Havana, only to return just as his adversaries were predicting his demise. His health weakened severely just after his re-election on October 7, possibly due to his decision to campaign for a third term instead of stepping aside to focus on his recovery.HUMBLE ROOTSChavez was raised by his grandmother in a house with a mud floor in rural Venezuela and evoked almost religious passion among poor supporters who loved his folksy charm, common touch and determination to put the nation's oil wealth at their service. He burst onto the national scene by leading an attempted coup in 1992. It failed and he was imprisoned, but he then formed a political party on his release two years later and swept to power in a 1998 election. It was the first of four presidential election victories, built on widespread support among the poor. But Chavez alienated investors with waves of takeovers and strict currency controls, often bullied his rivals, and disappointed some followers who say he focused too much on ideological issues at the expense of day-to-day problems such power cuts, high inflation and crime.Chavez built a highly centralized political system around his larger-than-life image and his tireless, micro-managing style created something close to a personality cult. He was particularly adept at exploiting divisions within a fractious opposition.Chavez was briefly toppled in a coup in 2002, but returned triumphantly after his supporters took to the streets.Apparently realizing the end was nigh, Chavez named Maduro his successor in December, just before his fourth operation, which followed months of grueling chemotherapy and radiation treatment.MADURO'S PROSPECTSOn February 18, Chavez made a surprise pre-dawn return from Cuba and was taken to a ninth-floor suite of a military hospital in Caracas, surrounded by tight security. The government published a handful of pictures of Chavez lying in a hospital bed while he was still in Havana - the only time he was seen since the latest surgery. Supporters held tearful vigils around the country to pray for his recovery.Maduro, 50, will now focus on marshalling support from Chavez's diverse coalition, which includes leftist ideologues, businessmen, and radical armed groups called "colectivos".Seeking to knock down rumors of tensions at the top of the ruling Socialist Party (PSUV), Maduro has stressed the unity between him and Diosdado Cabello, a powerful former army buddy of Chavez who heads the National Assembly.Maduro is a former bus driver who rose from union activist to foreign minister and then to president-in-waiting. He won Chavez's confidence by meticulously echoing his vitriolic rhetoric and never airing a dissenting opinion.Maduro has mimicked Chavez's rabble-rousing style in appearances in recent weeks, peppering speeches with insults aimed at adversaries.Capriles, Maduro's likely opponent, is a 40-year-old governor of Miranda state who led a hard-fought campaign against Chavez in the October election. There are clear ideological differences between the 20 or so groups in the opposition's Democratic Unity coalition and without their enmity to Chavez to bind them, the alliance could splinter.Until recently, polls had shown Capriles would beat any of Chavez's proteges. But the naming of Maduro as Chavez's heir, and the outpouring of emotion that will accompany Chavez's death, have changed the picture.A survey carried out by local pollster Hinterlaces between January 30 and February 9 gave Maduro 50-percent support, compared to 36 percent for Capriles.Wall Street investors, who would like to see a more pro-business government in Caracas but have been keen buyers of high-yielding Venezuelan bonds, will be watching closely.Tributes began pouring in from abroad.U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon offered his "deepest condolences" to the people of Venezuela, while Russia's U.N. ambassador Vitaly Churkin told reporters:"It's a tragedy. He was a great politician."

President, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote,
has moved up in the latest world richest ranking to
 number 43 from 76 in 2012.

According to the list which was released on Monday
by Forbes, Dangote and the Chairman of Globalom,
Dr. Mike Adenuga were the only Nigerians on the
 list.
Dangote, 55, however, retained his position as the
richest man in Africa and the richest among
manufacturers in the world with a net worth of
 $16.1bn.
Adenuga, 59, on the other hand, ranked 269 on the
list with a net worth of $4.7bn.
The world billionaires, list presented Carlos Slim
Helu, a Mexican as the world richest man with a net
worth of $73bn, while Bill Gates of United States
came second with a net worth of the $67bn.
 Others are Armancio Ortega of Spain ($57bn);
Warren Buffet, United States ($53.5bn); and Larry
Ellison of US with $43bn net worth, coming third,
 fourth and fifth, respectively.
Forbes said, "To compile net worths, we value
individuals' assets, including stakes in public and
private companies, real estate, yachts, art and cash
 – and account for debt.

"We attempt to vet these numbers with all
billionaires. Some cooperate; others don't. We also
consult an array of outside experts in various
 fields."
The past year has been eventful for Dangote. In
October, he sold off a controlling stake in his flour
milling company to Tiger Brands of South Africa
 and pocketed $190m in cash.

In February, his Dangote Sugar Refineries acquired
a 95 per cent stake in Savannah Sugar in a bid to
maintain its dominant position in the Nigerian
 sugar industry.

Dangote started building his fortune more than
three decades ago when he began trading in
commodities like cement, flour and sugar with a
loan he received from his maternal uncle.
He delved into full production of these items in the
early 2000s and went on to build the Dangote
 Group, West Africa's largest publicly-listed
conglomerate, which now owns sugar refineries,
salt processing facilities and Dangote Cement.

The power outages also hampered the safety of passengers and security measures at the airport, in addition to causing delays in the departure time of flights. the power cuts were experienced three times, with the last outage lasting for about an hour. Some of the eyewitnesses also said the passengers who had gone through security screening to the airside had to wait at the boarding gates until electricity was restored, while those in queues waiting to be checked in had to wait too, thus delaying flights.A traveller said there was always panic any time there was an outage as the passengers who had more than one bag struggled to hold on to them. "Since I came to the terminal, there have been power outages three times. The first time, it affected the whole airport but when power returned, only a part of the airport was lit."They have taken the electricity for the third time and as I speak to you, they have not restored it to all the parts of the airport. The E gate is in darkness so we are all waiting at the boarding gate," the passenger said.Reacting to the incident, the General Manager, Corporate Communications of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Yakubu Dati, said the outage which was caused by epileptic power supply from the dedicated lines at Egbin and Ejigbo power stations, was caused by the thunderstorm that occurred last night. He explained that when there was a power outage from one of the dedicated lines, FAAN switched over to the back-up line, which took a few minutes before electricity was restored to the airport. He added that the terminal has a standby generator but did not explain why it was not switched on. "The regional manager of the airport told me that each outage did not last more than two minutes. We are doing all that we can to restore power. I believe that it was the rainstorm that caused the outage," Dati said.

from a London hospital, where she was treated for
 symptoms of gastroenteritis.
The 86-year-old monarch had been taken to King
Edward VII's Hospital on Sunday morning "as a
 precautionary measure," a Buckingham Palace
 spokesman said, speaking with customary
 anonymity.
The queen smiled as she left the hospital Monday.
It was the first time the queen had been hospitalized
in a decade. Her official engagements for the week
 were postponed or canceled Sunday.
Elizabeth had already canceled a planned trip to
Wales on Saturday after showing symptoms of the
 illness, Buckingham Palace said.
Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the lining of the
stomach and intestines. Though commonly known as
"stomach flu," it is not caused by the influenza virus,
according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and
 Prevention.
The illness is usually caused by a virus and passed
from person to person, said Dr. Corey Siegel, a
 gastroenterologist and professor at Dartmouth
College's Geisel School of Medicine. But it can also be
caused by bacteria, either foodborne or personally
 transmitted, he said.
The bug usually has to run its course. But doctors
often give hospitalized elderly patients intravenous
fluids to prevent dehydration, which can lead to
 kidney problems, Siegel said.
Elizabeth celebrated her 60th anniversary on the
throne in 2012 and turns 87 in April. She was last
hospitalized in 2003 for knee surgery.
Her husband, the 92-year-old Prince Philip, was
hospitalized three times between December 2011
and August 2012 -- once for treatment of a blocked
coronary artery and twice for a bladder infection.

popularly known as Damino Damoche, was on
Saturday buried at the Badagry Cemetry according to
Islamic rites. The 25-year-old and final year Banking

student of the Lagos State University, was
gruesomely killed few meters away a gate of the
institution last Thursday after writing a test.
Meanwhile, some pictures of corpses suspected to be
students of the Lagos State University went viral on
the Internet on Saturday, heightening tension in the
school and its environs. Consequently, students of
the institution have expressed fear that some cult
members might want to avenge Olaniyan's death.
Reports on social network such as Facebook and
Twitter stated that some cult members attacked and
killed some students living off campus. "Some cult
members believed to belong to Aiye and Bucanners,
went to attack some cult members belonging to Eiye
Confraternity that live off campus. Olaniyan was
believed to be a member of Bucanners. It was his
gang members that went on the killing spree to
avenge his death," a report stated It was learnt that
following the rumour that went viral, many students
had left the school and gone home for the weekend
in order not to be caught in the cross fire.
When contacted on the telephone, the Student Union
President, Ibrahim Tunji, denied the death of more
students, adding that normalcy had since returned to
the campus. He said, "I have not received news of the
death of any student. I left the school on Friday and I
came back on Saturday so I would know if anything
had happened. You know anyone can fabricate any
story but I don't think there is need for panic." The
spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi
Braide, said she would call back when contacted on
the telephone but was yet to do so as at press time.

"We won that game 3-0, I scored the first goal, then
Albert scored a header, and the third was a goal that
impressed everyone. Albert went on one on one with
the goal keeper. I was running next to him, he went
round the keeper, all he needed to do was just to
getthe ball into the empty net. But, he passed it to
me and I scored. I was accepted to the Academy.
After the match, I approached him and asked him
"why" and he answered; "You're better than me".
Several years after, journalist went to Albert's house,
and asked whether the story was true. He confirmed.
He also said that his career as a football player
finished after that match and he is now unemployed.
"But where did you get such a gorgeous house, a
car? You seemed to be a rich person. You also
maintain your family…… where is all from? Albert
 proudly replied; its from Cristiano.

Hours after the release, another version quite similar to the pop star's surfaced online. Apparently the same song also titled 'Gobe' was released a year ago by an upcoming singer-producer named Password.
Password (who gained little buzz after featuring on Darey's 'Style na style' remix) had made online release for the same song in July 2011 but it seemed not to have garnered any buzz back then.
Sources tell us Password who produced and wrote the first version of 'Gobe' allegedly sold the song to Davido for a sum of money possibly up to N500,000.
'Dude sold the song to Davido. He produced and wrote it, all of a sudden they are saying Shizzi produced it', a studio rat and close friend to Password said.

Both parties have not been responsive to queries over the matter but after numerous comments were made on music blogs and social networks Twitter and Facebook about the stunning similarities between the songs, Davido and Password are now very vocal on Twitter about the matter.
'They noticed people had found out, it's like Password didn't tell Davido that he had released the song before he sold it'.
Davido tweeted; Big ups 2 @iamshizzi and @iam_password for such a great combination of work for GOBE! More stuff 2 come HKN!
Password was also very co-operative as he also tweeted in support; The song Gobe was officially replaced by @iam_davido hu co-wrote on d new version and I @iam-password is very happy and satisfied.
HKN in-house producer also tweeted; Follow my gud friend @iam_password and thanx to him and d inspiration we all put into gobe! Cc"@iam_Davido.

The pair
got into a heated argument after D'Banj found out
that Bankuli went to Paris after the Koko concert to
work on Kanye West's next album without him
 knowing.
Bankuli left for Paris after the Koko concert in
December and his employer/artiste wasn't aware of
his clandestine trip to Paris to drop adlibs on Kanye's
 next LP.
When D'Banj found out, an argument ensued and
went physical according to our source.
Bankuli is also a vocalist and sound creator apart from
being an A&R and artiste manager and developer.
Bankuli's vocals can be heard on 'Lift Off' featuring
Beyonce off the Watch The Throne album. He was
credited for his vocal contribution on the track co-
produced by Don Jazzy. He also got additional vocals
credit on 'Illest Mothadamna Alive' featured on the
 same album.
From his timeline on Twitter, Bankuli was indeed in
Paris during the new year. On January 20, 2013,
Bankuli tweeted about the cold in Paris, France.
This snow na die o …..chei….paris life — Bankulli
 (@bankulli) January 20, 2013
During his stay overseas, Bankuli hooked up with
G.O.O.D Music producer Travis Scott who was signed
to Kanye West's imprint last November.
Bankuli's social media profiles- Twitter, Instagram and
Facebook- no longer have any DB Records
information. His avatar on Twitter now features a logo
of Bankuli Entertainment, his newly floated
 entertainment outfit. Bankuli started managing
D'Banj after the Mo' Hits split.

Crime Alert gathered that the alleged adulterous house wife (names withheld) and a staff of the University attached to the security department was allegedly caught red handed, with another randy staff who hails from Nnobi, Anambra State and a senior Staff of Energy Research Center of the University, enjoying one another on her matrimonial bed. An impeccable source disclosed to Uwillcgossip.com that the husband of the woman had been suspecting his wife had been having amorous overtures with the man but his suspicion became real on that fateful day he caught them pants down. The source said that the man returned to his house following a tip-off, only to behold the bizarre scene, explaining that when the husband of the adulterous woman walked into the room, he saw them pants down and the Energy Research Centre lover took his cloths and ran away. Neighbors who were attracted to the ugly scene gave him a hot chase but he escaped, the source noted. Unable to bear the slight, the husband of the adulterous woman headed to the Nigeria Police Area Command, Nsukka and lodged the complaint. When Crime Alert visited the Police Area Command, the aggrieved husband said he was making his statement to the police. According to him, it was true, they have been having this affair since and I have been suspecting them, but my wife would always convince me, taking advantage of my being a non- Igbo. When our reporter reached out to the suspect on phone for comments, he quipped "that is rubbish, that is rubbish" while the alleged adulterous woman also told our reporter on phone "there was nothing like that". However, Police sources at the Area Command Nsukka revealed that the woman claimed her alleged lover was just a family friend for many years. She denied the alleged sexual intercourse claiming that "the man comes to our house and has been a friend of the family. He acts as a father to me". When contacted, the Area Commander, Nigeria Police Area Command, Nsukka, Ros-Armson Haladu (ACP) confirmed that a case of adultery was reported to his office and both suspects have made useful statements to Police in respect of the matter.
