Blackface is really a loose canon these days, attacking WizKid, 
2face, P-Square and now directing his ammunition at 2face’s manager, Efe
 Omoregbe. 
 
This comes a few days after Efe penned down an open letter stating 
categorically that 2face didn’t steal any song from former band mate, 
Blackface and went further to say that the whole circus is just a 
publicity stunt. See his full letter here: 
 
“When my attention was drawn to Blackface’s twitter rant about the 
‘theft’ of his songs by his ex-band mate 2Baba, my initial reaction was 
to ignore what I perceived as an obvious marketing gimmick for his new 
single. 
 
“The reaction from a vast majority of people on social media who read
 about the allegations was evidence that the ploy had backfired. 
“Blackface’s press interviews since the twitter rant has made it 
necessary for me to present the flip side and set the records straight. 
 
1. 2Baba and Blackface do have a bunch of songs they co-wrote in their days as Plantashun Boiz. 
 
2. Both artistes have collectively and individually recorded and commercially released materials from this collection. 
 
3. 2Baba has always given Blackface (Austin Ahmedu) co-writing credit
 every time he recorded any song that has Blackface’s input – No matter 
how minimal. 
 
4. Blackface has neither given 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) co-writing 
credit nor sought ‘permission’ to record any of the materials they 
jointly authored. 
 
5. Blackface has earned royalties off his shared publishing rights for about a decade. 
 
6. A huge chunk of income he has made derives from royalties earned 
by the commercial exploitation of the successesful materials 
performed/recorded by 2Baba. 
 
7. 2Baba did not and couldn’t have stolen ‘Let Somebody Love You’ 
from Blackface. The song was released about 2 years ago. Blackface 
complained about his name being misspelt on the CD sleeve and we 
personally apologised to him. 
 
8. Yes. Blackface contributed to the writing of the first verse of 
the song. The second verse was entirely 2Baba. Bridget Kelly wrote her 
verse and Efe Omorogbe wrote the outro verse. 
 
9. Efe Omorogbe is not 2Baba’s manager on ‘Let Somebody Love You’ but a co-writer. 
 
10. The outro verse was lifted from the song ‘How?’ written in 1997 
and recorded in 1999 at Dolphin studios, Surulere. Blackface didn’t 
write that bit. Couldn’t have written that bit. Blackface cannot in 
2016, touch Efe Omorogbe’s writing from 1997. 
 
11. Blackface should be honoured to have shared co-writing credit 
with 2Baba. I am. For each and every song we have collaborated on. 
 
12. Blackface should be grateful 2Baba recorded their co-authored materials to ensure a lifetime of royalty income for him. 
 
13. Blackface should record and release his own version of ‘Let 
Somebody Love You’ and keep 100% publishing on that version. Oops! 2Baba
 will still be entitled to a share. 
 
14. Blackface is not in 2Baba’s league as a songwriter. Their post-Plantashun Boiz’ catalogs speak for themselves. 
 
15. Blackface should go to court to seek redress if he indeed believes he has a case. 
 
16. Blackface should know that nobody ever secured a court judgement via a twitter rant or media tour. 
 
17. Blackface must have realised by now that the unfortunate tirade 
has not made “Killa” a hit. At least, not at the moment. We grind our 
way to the results we seek bro. Just HARDwork. No short cuts! 
 
Blackface in response took to his instagram to say 
that he did in fact write 2face’s song with Bridget Kelly, and also gave
 him permission to record his global hit, African Queen.

Katie May died after suffering from a catastrophic stroke, She was 34.

Katie who was also a single mother and a marketing partner for a 
sports betting website, had the stroke on Monday, February 1 in Los 
Angeles, her family confirms with TMZ.

According to a family member, Katie had struggled with neck pain 
recently and tried to get treatment before a blockage in her carotid 
artery caused the massive stroke. It remains unclear where she was 
receiving medical care.

Representatives for her listed modelling agency, management team and 
the sports betting site didn’t immediately respond to requests for her 
health status by Thursday night.

Poke nosing the girl’s page showed that she actually talked about her
 trip to UK and France, a week before. And last week, while Peter and 
Samuel Eto were in UK on a business trip, she was also there. She also 
shared a picture of herself with Eto. She returned to USA about the same
 time Peter and Eto jetted out to Turkey.

Man Arrested For Killing His Babymama & Their 2Yr-Old Daughter Over Child Support Payments

25 year old Daron Boswell-Johnson, has been arrested
 for allegedly murdering his baby mama, 26 year old NeShante Davis 
(pictured left) and their 2 year old daughter, Chloe Davis-Green, (pictured right). 
 
According to police reports, Daron lied-in-wait for the mother and 
child outside their home in Maryland, USA on Tuesday morning Feb. 2nd 
and as they came out around 7am, he shot both of them multiple times, 
killing them. He then fled the scene. He was caught the next day! 
 
According to News4, the alleged killer was angry over $600 in monthly
 child support he had been ordered to pay. He had initially refused to 
pay it, asking for a DNA. He was confirmed to be Chloe’s father in 
December 2015 through a DNA test conducted as part of a paternity suit. 
 
The killer and his ex had had many confrontations over the child and 
child support payments but nobody suspected he would go this far!</div>

The Lagos State Government, yesterday, demolished a 4-storey building
 owned by founder of Premier Lotto, popularly known as “Baba Ijebu,” Sir
 Kessington Adebutu, as part of the on-going exercise to address 
building collapse. 
 
The building, which was located at No 6, Campbell Street, Lagos 
Island was used as party secretariat by the Action Congress, (now All 
progressives Congress) and law firms, but was deserted 10 years ago when
 the tenants discovered cracks on the wall. 
 
Baba Ijebu is said to have bought the building a few years ago but 
was still deliberating with his staff on how to restructure it. 
 
The building was sealed by the Lagos State Building Control Agency( 
LASBCA) twice to allow the owner embark on Structural Stability 
Test(SST) before embarking on manual demolition exercise which commenced
 on October 16th, 2015 and December 22, 2015.</div>

In 2010 9ice released a song that made a lot of people 
wrongfully drag me into a terrible situation. People who miscontrued the
 song and it created a rumour . 
A terrible false rumour that was fueled by journalists and bloggers who 
were only after hits on their sites.Bloggers and journalists who did not
 care to investigate and confirm a rumour,but chose to print and post it
 anyways not caring who got hurt in the process.</blockquote>
I remember pleading my innocence and that of Toni Paynes but social media people being who and how they are,chose not to listen.

I remember calling 9ice on the phone CIA style to talk to him about 
it and he was clearly heard admitting the song was not about myself or 
Toni Payne, but social media people being who and how they are, chose 
not to listen.

I remember asking 9ice to publicly clear the air on the terrible 
rumour,but was shocked when my friend said he would not because he was 
busy and didn’t have time for such. Again nobody wondered why.

Fast forward 2016. six years later and I was surprised when i heard 
that 9ice has finally come out to say i never slept with his wife and 
the song was not about me and even apologised on top.That he has finally
 come out to say the truth about the issue that cast a negative shadow 
over my head and that of his ex wife for six years.

All i can do is smile because I know me better than anybody out there
 who insulted me over the matter. I said it then and i say it now, 
Michael Ugochukwu Stephens will never sleep with his friends wife.

Families and husbands you can now relax. Your daughters and wives are safe around me hahahahaha!!

To 9ice, bro you left it a bit too late. You had your chance to clear
 this matter up 6 years ago when it really mattered but you did not take
 it. I do not know why and exactly what it was that made you keep quiet 
all that while. I did my best to clear my name without you and
have moved on since.

Anyways I accept your apology and thank God we are all alive.

To bloggers and journalists: You will be who and how you are,but the 
best and most successful ones amongst you will be the ones who actually 
get professional about with their work and try to investigate stories 
before putting it out there. I really hope you all realise its not all 
about the hits. Do not lose your humanity all because you want to be the
 first to break news.

Some weeks back, the internet went agog with the news of singer, 
Oritsefemi and ex-manager, engaging in a media war over the ownership of
 MSG Gang, a label Oritsefemi is claiming he owns.

Oritsefemi, just last week, weighed in o the controversy saying he 
would lock Danku and his mom behind bars, stating clearly that he gave 
Danku’s mom 1milion naira for business.

Well today, an online source have spoken with Danku’s mom, after Danku himself refused to say anything.

Mrs Funmilayo Adepitan said Oritsefemi is a liar.

 My brother, God will bless you, I really don’t have much to say, 
but I remember when my son brought him to me and told me about him, the 
first day I saw him, my mind told me to tell my son to be careful. 
Oritsefemi is ungrateful, because my son was the one that helped him get
 the Avatar deal. 
 
 I remember clearly back then, Danku wanted to take my last son, 
Oluwaseun to meet the Avatar man in Abuja but I kicked against it 
because he was in final year in school, I didn’t want him to be 
distracted so I told him to take Oritsefemi and I was the one that gave 
them N10,000 to buy the clothes Oritsefemi wore to meet the man in 
Abuja, I never knew I shouldn’t have helped him.  
 
 Mrs Funmilayo also spoke about Oritsefemi’s claim of gibing her 1million Naira. 
 
I have been doing my sand business since 2008, I only met Oritsefemi
 in 2014 so how can he say that. When they showed me his interview on 
paper last week, I was almost crying because this Oritsefemi boy is 
ungrateful when he wanted to rent a house for his mother around Magbon 
in Badagry, he came to meet me to help him saying it was packaging, that
 her current residence in Kiri-kiri is not befitting, I gave them over 
#300,000 cash.  
 
 There was another time Danku brought him to me when they wanted to 
shoot the video for Sexy Ladies with Davido, I gave him N1.2m cash till 
date he’s not returned the money. I am a landlady with two houses in 
Lagos so he can’t even compare me with his mum.  
 
 All these things he’s saying is a lie, I can say it in front of him 
and he can’t deny it. My mother died on April 12 and we buried her on 
May 30, but I almost cancelled the burial because my son had just left 
Oritsefemi’s house on May 16 and he fell terribly ill. Thank God for his
 life today, since then Oritsefemi has been threatening us, that’s why 
am shouting out now so Nigerians will know the type of person he is.  
 
 
Madam Funmilayo concluded the interview saying:

I even gave him a nickname Oritsefemi Mr Packaging 
because anytime they come to meet me to collect money they’ll say it’s 
for packaging, I just want him to leave me and my son alone.</blockquote>
As at the time of reporting this news, Oritsefemi is yet to comment on these new revelations.</div>

did not crash her wedding which was held on January 30, 2016. 
 
Speaking to Olisa and Osi at the start of her programme The Midday 
Show, Toolz revealed that she actually invited Wale to her wedding.

Toolz said Wale called her when he was on his way to Nigeria. She 
informed him that she was getting married on January 30, and invited 
him.

Wale was skeptical at first because he didn’t have anything to wear, but Toolz told him to come with whatever he was wearing.

Recall, Nigerians came for Wale over his choice of outfit to the big 
event and felt her was under-dressed for a typical “Nigerian Traditional
 Wedding”

Wale showed up at the wedding with Nigerian pop star Wizkid.

One of Nigeria’s gifted and talented actors Olumide Bakare is crying out for help.

The veteran actor has been critically sick for a while now and reported to be in the intensive care unit of  (UCH) Ibadan since Saturday, January 2.

But his health condition is worsening and the medical situation has 
prompted him to call on good-spirited Nigerians to come to his aid 
financially.

Bakare is said to be suffering from lungs and heart related ailment 
and his bill has accrued that he cannot foot it again. He lamented that 
the debilitating ailment has inflicted a huge strain on his finance as 
he has spent over a million naira on his worsening health.

Bakare presently needs about thirty thousand naira daily for dialysis
 and he is asking Nigerians to come to his aid both financially and 
spiritually.

He cried out:  “This is beyond me; I can no longer handle this on my

Nigerians willing to help him are to send their widow’s mite to his

Olumide Bakare became famous for his acclaimed role as Chief Koko in 
the rested TV series, Koko Close. He has been a regular feature in many

Man allegedly stabbed to death by his wife in their home in Ibadan (Graphic)

Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku, 38, was brutally 
stabbed to death early this morning allegedly by his wife Yewande 
Oyediran nee Fatoki, at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan in the wee 
hours of today Feb. 2nd. The woman is said to be a
 lawyer and a Staff of Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry
 of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo state. 
 
Lowo was allegedly stabbed after a domestic dispute at their home. 
According to a person in the know, Yewande was found with dislocated 
shoulders, swollen head and bruised body and was taken to the hospital 
for treatment where she was later discharged and arrested by police. 
She's presently detained at the state CID Iyaganku, Ibadan. The man's 
corpse has been deposited at the mortuary while his friends are mourning
