She wasn't expected to give birth until next
month, but Kim Kardashian had her baby girl
five weeks early. Both Us Weekly and TMZ are
reporting that the new mom welcomed her
first child on Saturday morning.
It will be quite the first Father's Day for daddy
Kanye West. According to RadarOnline.com,
he missed his own listening party for his new
album, held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles
Friday night, because Kardashian went into
labor.
A source from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in
West Hollywood, California, told Us Weekly,
"Kim had her baby. She's five weeks early.
Kim got sick last night and had the baby
early."
The 32-year-old has not had an easy pregnancy with her first child. From run-ins with the paparazzi to cheating rumors about West and model Leyla Ghobadi, it has been a stressful time for Kim.
The baby's due date was July 11, so it is good to hear that mom and her newborn are healthy and happy.
Us Weekly's source shared, "They're all doing great and amazing!"
The couple confirmed they were having a girl on the June 2 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
They also had their baby shower on that day, so the party came just in time.
There has been no official announcement from West or Kardashian confirming the birth or their baby girl's name, but they have both mentioned that they want to keep their daughter away from the reality show
cameras.
In West's recent interview with the New York Times, he revealed, "I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother."
The duo have been dating since April 2012 and
announced their baby news in December.
