Ice Prince Received His BET Award Backstage – Dencia Reveals

As the Nigerian music community is still rejoicing about Iceprince being the first African artiste to receive the BET award on stage during the course of the ceremony, pop artiste'Dencia' who was present at the event which took place few nights ago broke hearts by declaring otherwise; saying that Mr. Zamani received the award in front of an empty audience.

Dencia claims BET edited the video clip of Ice receiving his awards to appear to be in front of a live audience to be aired to African viewers.

This is really sad and a bad look for the BET; an organisation established to celebrate Africa still cannot present an award plaque to the recipient of 'Best African Act' during the ceremony, so what is the need?
