Davido just announced a few hours ago on Snapchat, the signing of who we believe to now be the former Hypertek Digital signee, Dammy Krane to Davido Music Worldwide – DMW.

Dammy Krane now joins the very talented bunch consisting of Dremo, Mayorkun & Danagog and we can’t but expect that this is the career revival that Dammy Krane is in serious need of.<br />
<br />
 The duo have worked together on quite a few collaborations in the past from Dammy Krane’s ‘Incase Of Incasity’ off the Enterkraner album to Izzue and most recently ‘Ladies’ to which the video will be released soon and we can’t but expect them to work more magic .

As we await more details of what this signing entails, we congratulate Davido, Dammy Krane & DMW and wish them a successful run.

A Walmart customer filmed the aftermath of a fatal shooting in a
  Kansas store's parking lot and posted the video to Facebook.<br />
<br />

In the video, Wendy Russell Macrorie shows what appears to be a
  dead body and warns against visiting Walmart, <span>
  The Daily Mail reports.</span><br />
<br />
<br />

"So this is interesting. I am at Walmart, which I hate going to,
  and this is happening in front of my car," Macrorie said in
  the video, which was removed from Facebook on Monday.<br />
<br />

"Apparently right in front of my car two men have been shot. I
  was inside buying some lightbulbs and stuff — an inner tube
  for my son for his bike, and everybody was telling everybody not
  to go outside," she said. " So you be careful when you're going
  to Walmart. This is really scary and insane and grotesque, and I
  am freaked out."<br />
<br />

The Daily Mail posted a copy of the video to its website.<br />
<br />

At the end of the video, Macrorie said, "Gross, gross — don't
  come to Walmart!"
<br />

Macrorie didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.<br />
<br />

One person was killed and two were critically injured in the
  shooting on Sunday, police spokesman Dan Tennis told 
  NBC News. According to NBC News:<br />

  "As a woman was placing her infant in a car seat in the store's
  parking lot, Tennis said, two suspects struck her in the back of
  the head with an unspecified object. </div>

Rapper Bobby Shmurda Sentenced To 7 Years In Jail For Gang Offences

Bobby Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, pleaded guilty 
before his trial on Monday in the Manhattan Supreme Court, where he 
faced the possibility of serving up to 25 years if convicted.<br />
<br />

The 22-year-old Shmoney Dance hit-maker was arrested in December 2014
 on conspiracy, reckless endangerment and gun possession charges and 
remained behind bars for nearly two years on $2million bond.<br />

Shmurda appeared in court on Friday along with his friends Chad Marshall and Nicholas McCoy, who accepted the same deal.<br />
<br />

After a fixed seven year sentence, Shmurda will be on probation for another five years, the New York Daily News reported.<br />
<br />

Shmurda was arrested after leaving a recording studio near Radio City
 Music Hall on December 17, 2014. Police found two handguns and a small

A 15-person indictment named Shmurda as the leader of the G Stone 
Crips, also known as GS9, whose members were charged with 69-counts 
including murder, attempted murder, assault and drug dealing.<br />

The gang left one rival dead outside a Brooklyn bodega, and injured 
an innocent bystander sitting on a folding chair outside a home, 
according to the police.<br />

The GS9 members were cited in various shootings in New York City as well as a Miami, Florida nightclub, authorities said.<br />

Police also seized 21 guns during the investigation.<br />

The 22-year-old has also been hit with charges of conspiracy to 
commit murder in a separate case after he allegedly tried to sneak a 
knife into Rikers Island with the help of a woman believed to be his

Shmurda has also filed a false-arrest lawsuit in response to a 
separate incident in June, after police knocked on the door of his

The suit claims the cops didn’t have a search warrant and mocked him by singing his lyrics during the arrest.<br />

A new home button</h3>
Apple has redesigned the Home button on the iPhone 7 - presumably in order to make the device waterproof.<br />

 The
 new "solid-state" Home button is designed to be durable and responsive,
 and work in tandem with Apple's Taptic Engine to provide "more precise 
and customisable tactile feedback".<br />

 In other words, even though 
the button doesn't "click" in the same way as it did on the old handset,

Perhaps the most controversial thing about the new iPhone is that it doesn't have a headphone socket.<br />

 iPhone 7 comes with a new A10 chip, which is extremely efficient, 
meaning the iPhone 7 can run up to three times faster than the iPhone 6 
at as little as half the power.<br />
 This means that the iPhone 7's battery lasts up to 2 hours longer than iPhone 6s, according to Apple, and the iPhon 7 Plus' battery lasts up to 1 hour longer than iPhone 6s Plus.<br />

Graphics performance is also more powerful, so it can support a new level of gaming and professional apps.<br />

 Apple
 has effectively doubled the storage capacity of all its iPhones. So

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have upgraded cameras.<br />

alleged road rage incident and was hit with felony gun and drug charges

Popular American rapper, Sidney Royel Selby, widely known as 
Desiigner, was arrested for pointing a gun at another motorist outside 
the Lincoln Tunnel in Midtown on Thursday night.<br />
<br />

According to Police report on Friday, the rapper who shot to 
limelight with his smash hit, “Panda”, was driving into Manhattan from 
New Jersey when he got into an argument with a motorist driving behind 
his Cadillac Escalade at W. 42nd St. and Eighth Ave. about 9:10 p.m on 
Thursday.<br />

town at W. 42nd St. and Third Ave, as cops searched the car and found 
the gun, oxycontin pills and other drugs.<br />

From the beginning of the concert which the organizers touted as the best concert we have ever seen in Nigeria – <strong>Buckwyld</strong><strong> And Breathless</strong>, also dubbed ‘The Disruption’ struggled to live up to the expectations suggested by it’s name.<br />

The September 3<sup>rd</sup> concert headlined by the iconic – 2Baba 
and rap mystro, M.I Abaga started three hours behind schedule and as if 
we hadn’t suffered enough they near bored everyone to death with the 
pre-show documentary.<br />

Finally the impeccably dressed host of the night – Andrea Blaze 
swaggered unto the Eko Hotel Convention Center stage to kick off the 
show, beginning with a crop of upcoming artistes. The  A&R team 
could very well have put in a little more thought into selecting the 
artistes and consequently the arrangement of their performances as it 
pretty much looked like they had just shoved out the artistes who were 
ready without a care as to how this might affect the progression not to 
mention vibe of the show. Regardless, artistes like Ruby, Ckay, Dice 
Ailes, Terry Apala, Brenda (The Voice), MI2, Acetunes and Yung L aced 
their performances. <br />

The show proper eventually begun thank heavens. M.I Abaga stepped 
onto the stage decked to the nines as he opened with a James Bond 
inspired act, cheesy as it might have been the rapper hit the ground 
running with an energetic performance of his Brymo assisted record – <strong>Action Film</strong>, which certainly gave no room for missing the ex-choc boy.<br />

His performance that night was a testament to his talent and charisma
 not to mention depth of his discography. Favoring the crowd pleasing 
numbers he maintained a back and forth between old and new numbers with a
 rich use of his mice-en scene.<br />
<br />

He transitioned from his opener to <strong>Undisputed Champion</strong>, and then a surprising mash up of <strong>Short Black Boy</strong> and Mavin Gaye’s <strong>Sexual Healing</strong>. <br />
<br />

M.I knew just how to send the crowd into ripples of excitement and he
 did that with his former arch rival, Kelly Hansome who he brought on

The atmosphere stayed in M.I’s favour as he performed tributes to 
three rap veterans, Modenine, Eedris Abdulkhareem and Ruggedman. With 
Ruggedy hitting the stage to perform “Baraje”.<br />
<br />

M.I’s set brought to light the three of the most important things in 
his life – music, family and his city, Jos. One of which, was evident 
when he brought out Choc City boys, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Nosa and a 
friend of the family, Djinee as they performed some of their old and new
 collaborations.<br />
<br />

Along with Nosa, he delivered an emotional performance of his song <strong>Brother</strong>, which is safe to say drew a few droplets from the crowd. Ice and Jesse then went on to perform <strong>Oleku</strong> and <strong>Wetin Dey</strong> to a delighted audience. <br />
<br />

Waje didn’t dampen the mood one bit even as she stepped on stage to 
give a brilliant rendition of the melancholy reggae record – “I Wish”. 
M.I joined her on stage for <strong>One Naira</strong> and boy did Waje hug the spotlight to herself with her pitch defying vocals and brilliant adlibs.<br />
<br />

M.I rounded up his epic one hour with a delivery of <strong>Wild Wild West</strong> (an Ode to Jos), the Praiz assisted <strong>Epic</strong>, and <strong>African Rapper</strong> <strong>Number One</strong>, which was fitting a finish to his stellar show.<br />

Now the question on the lips of many as we entered into the early 
hour of Sunday morning was how on earth would the legendary 2Baba top 
M.I’s performance? Well, let’s just say 2Baba did not disappoint, and by
 that we mean he didn’t come close to topping M.I’s fierce set. <br />
<br />

2Baba kicked off his performance with a cringe worthy real time version of Emma Ugolee’s<em> The Gist</em>,
 featuring Osagie Alonge and AY Makun. The iconic singer surprised the 
crowd as he stepped out of the audience (score one for the surprise 
element) he then went on to give an ultimately forgettable performance 
of a couple of his collaborations with M.I Abaga, and then Sound Sultan 
joined them on stage for <strong>Human Being</strong>. Just as M.I Abaga took his leave for the night for 2Baba and Sound Sultan to proceed with <strong>Ole</strong>, there was a little bit of a disconnect as instead Cobhams mounted the stage to render a beautiful version of <strong>Blood on the Dance Floor</strong>, and I daresay that was pretty much the highlight of 2Baba’s segment for that night.<br />

Where M.I Abaga stuck to his script 2Baba veered completely off 
script as he joked and even joined the audience off stage at one point. 
2Baba did manage a few fine moments such as his performance of OJB 
Jezreel’s “Searching” with the late producer’s son Ayokunle Okungbowa.<strong> OJB </strong>might have died but he certainly didn’t take all his talent with him. <br />
<br />

2Baba was joined on stage by Vector, Ruggedman and Tanzania’s Vanessa
 Mdee. Although 2Baba did give a complacent performance the crowd was 
very forgiving. For a night tagged <em>Buckwyld And Breathless</em>, the man could have put in a little more effort.<br />
