 suggesting that he has turned down an endorsement
 deal with Globacom.
 Online reports suggested over the weekend that the
 rapper had snubbed a multi-million naira deal with
 the telecommunications giant.
 However, his management, Chocolate City have
 moved quickly to deny the reports saying there is no
 truth in the matter.
 "We were just as surprised as anybody when we read
 the news of Ice Prince "purportedly" turning down
 "the offer" , especially since it isn't true," said Tobi
 Sanni-Daniel, Ice Prince's business manager.
 "Globacom is a multi-national company with an
 excellent track record of delivering quality. Any
 individual would be proud and honoured to be
 associated with them… To say that we have turned
 down an endorsement deal is false and completely
 baseless."
 Ice Prince has recently been busy in the studio as he
 gears towards a highly anticipated album later in the

 this weekend (February 2 and 3) across London,
 UK to honor one of the greatest producers of all
 time, J Dilla aka James Yancey.
 J Dilla passed away in 2006 at the age of 32, after
 being hospitalized for pneumonia whilst battling
 Lupus.
 The Detroit born and raised artist became widely
 regarded as one of the most influential producers
 of all time, producing for groups such as A Tribe
 Called Quest, The Roots, De La Soul, Pharcyde and
 his own group, Slum Village.
 In honor and in celebration of his music, J Dilla is
 being remembered in London with a release of a
 documentary titled The View From the Other Side:
 J Dilla A European Remembrance which features
 European artists and DJ's such as Shortee Blitz, Mr
 Thing, Onra, Lefto and Chief.
 Directed by independent filmmaker, Shernay
 LaTouche, the film explores underground
 communities and cultures influenced by J Dilla in
 London, Berlin and Paris. The premiere took place
 on Saturday February 2 at Hackney Picture House,
 London.
 J Dilla's music was also remembered at the
 seventh annual "Doctor's Orders Dilla" on Sunday
 (February 3) at The Scala, London.
 Previously, the event was attended by J Dilla's
 mother, Maureen 'Ma Dukes' Yancey. This year,
 DJ's spinning on the night will include Kidkanevil,
 DJ LoK and Spin Doctor.
 It was hosted by J Dilla's close friend and artist,
 Phat Kat. All proceeds will be donated to the J Dilla
 Foundation and Lupus UK.

 Though Joe Flacco may have been the most valuable
 player of the game, eyes are also on Ray Lewis, who

 Lewis was the MVP of the Super Bowl when Baltimore
 beat the Giants.
 "When God is for you, who can be against you," said
 Lewis of his team's win.
 A power outage forced players and fans to cool their
 heels for about 30-minutes, but the interruption
 failed to help the 49ers, who had been trailing most
 of the game.
 Baltimore led 28-6 after Jones opened the second
 half with the longest kickoff return in a Super Bowl,
 his eyes glancing up at the videoboard, presumably
 to watch himself sprint to the end zone. The 49ers
 showed they were capable of a comeback in their
 previous game: They trailed by 17 against the
 Atlanta Falcons before winning the NFC
 championship game.
 Shortly following Jones' return, the sudden, odd
 power outage arrived. Escalators weren't working.
 Officials stopped play about 1½ minutes into the
 third quarter, and the bizarre delay lasted 34
 minutes in real time before action resumed. Some
 players sat. Others stretched. Some fans chanted,
 "Let's go, Ravens!" Others passed time by doing the
 wave.
 This was the 10th time New Orleans hosted the big
 game - tying Miami for most in a city - and first since
 Hurricane Katrina devastated the Big Easy in August
 2005.
 When play resumed, NFC champion San Francisco
 (13-5-1) began making things more interesting,
 scoring 17 points in less than 4 1/2 minutes.
 First, Kaepernick threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to
 Crabtree, pulling them within 15 points midway
 through the third quarter. Ravens defensive backs
 Cary Williams and Bernard Pollard missed tackles on
 the play. Then, with 5 minutes left in the third
 quarter, Frank Gore swept around right end for a 6-
 yard TD run, making it 28-20, before Ravens running
 back Ray Rice's fumble gave the ball right back to
 the 49ers.

 The situation could have been worse for City in the
 Premier League clash at the Etihad on Sunday had

 "Last year we recovered eight points in six games so I
 don't know why it can't happen this year," said
 Mancini.
 "They have to play in the FA Cup and the Champions
 League so the season is long - three months - and we
 are confident. It is enough to recover three or four

 points behind and we have time to recover these
 points. We didn't play like we had in the last month but
 we are confident.
 "Two years ago Chelsea were nine points behind and
 when they went to play at Old Trafford two games from
 the end they were only two points behind.
 "I don't think this is finished but probably now we have
 to win all the games but if not then 11 or 12 games.
 But in football this can happen sometimes."
 Edin Dzeko put the hosts in front before strikes from
 Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard turned the game
 in favour of Liverpool.
 Mancini felt aggrieved that play had not stopped in the
 build-up to Sturridge's goal after Dzeko was challenged
 by Daniel Agger.
 He said: "I think Liverpool played a good game. We
 conceded two goals, stupid goals for me.
 "But before the first goal there was a big foul - if it had
 happened with us, probably there would have been a
 red card.
 "Instead, the referee and linesman did not see
 anything. In the end, though, I think it was the right
 result."
 Asked if he felt Liverpool should have put the ball out
 when Dzeko was left on the turf by Agger, Mancini said:
 "Probably, because after this foul I think there were
 several seconds (before the goal).
 "I think so, but this can happen. I think it was a foul and
 should have been a yellow card. The rules are the same
 for everyone always."

 It has exclusively been reported that the
 rumoured split between Banky W and Wizkid may
 have resulted from an alleged high difference in
 what Banky W gets from revenues made by Wizkid.
 This, as it
 was reported,
 has been
 bothering
 Wizkid until
 he
 summoned
 the courage
 to ask for an
 improved
 contract from Banky W, which hit him (Banky W)
 by surprise.
 "You know Wizkid is the backbone of EME
 music label. The boy (Wizkid) feels that
 Banky W has been milking too much from
 him with the large chunk of what Banky W
 takes from what the boy makes.
 "Wizkid has asked for an improved contract
 because the present one allocates much of
 Wizkid's earnings to Banky W. You know
 when you are coming up, you sign any kind
 of deal because you just want to climb
 stardom.
 "That is the situation the boy finds himself
 but Banky felt hurt that Wizkid could ask for
 an improved offer after what he (Banky W)
 has done for him.
 "This was the beginning of the problem
 between them. The boy even threatened to
 leave the label sometimes ago but Banky W
 felt it was a joke. He took it with a pinch of
 salt. Now, he is at a crossroad and confused
 on what to do," a source was quoted to have said.
 
 The online news journal also reported that
 Wizkid's mum waded into the matter but
 Wizkid reportedly ignored his mum advice
 and stood his ground on leaving the label.
 "Wizkid's mum has also tried to talk sense to
 her son but it seems the guy (Wizkid) is bent
 on moving on with his life," the site quoted
 its source to have told them.
 The rumoured split is rather becoming the same
 pattern with D'Banj and Don Jazzy's split of 2012,
 which happened at about this period too.
 No official statement has been released by either
 Banky W or Wizkid on the issue. It is hoped that
 the rumoured break-up will be finally laid to rest as
 soon as possible

 "Expect Pharrell on there," Gunplay told
 HHDX. "I've been working with him recently. I got
 one with him called 'Steel Drums,' and I'm finna
 do another one featuring Big Sean. I'm just
 waiting for the vocals back and stuff. It's going to
 be huge."
 Artists like Rick Ross, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, Yo
 Gotti, Trina and Rockie Fresh recently supplied
 verses for Gunplay's Cops N Robbers so it's
 certainly safe to assume that he and the label will
 be calling in some more heavyweights
 for Medellin.
 He also stated that he would be featured on Lil
 Wayne's upcoming album I Am Not A Human

 Dre Skull and features Mavado and Popcaan.
 "We were searching for true reggae music," Snoop
 Lion said of Reincarnated. "That's what this record
 is all about. It's about paying homage and giving
 love to those who created reggae music and
 honoring what it was made for."
 Diplo and Major Lazer handled the production for
 Reincarnated, which will be released in Spring
 2013.
 "Snoop is an icon in the game and in the streets
 and it was an honour to be a part of the video,"
 Mavado added. "The whole Gullyside family feels
 good to know that Jamaica is going to get a
 positive highlight from the video and we are all
 excited about the release."
 Snoop documented his time in Jamaica recording
 Reincarnated, which will be released as a film with
 the same name, on March 15.

 The Bad Boy/Interscope artist, who is also
 affiliated with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group,
 will hit 17 dates, zigzagging across the country to
 perform in cities like New York, Chicago, Atlanta,
 Los Angeles, Denver, Detroit and San Francisco.
 "This is my first official headline tour," French
 Montana said in a statement released to the
 press. "Everything has been leading up to this
 and the release of my album. I'm just excited to
 get on the road and see my fans, share my music
 and include them on this journey."
 French kicks off his "Excuse My French Tour," in
 support of his highly anticipated forthcoming
 album Excuse My French which will be available
 April 16 in stores and with digital retailers.

 decision to have a natural child-birth at home.
 "It consists of her being in a whole lot of pain, with
 no medicine, she's gonna thug it out. We gonna
 have a midwife and a doula at the crib and she's
 gonna be in a pool and its gonna be like a relaxing
 environment and when she's ready she's gonna
 tell me when to stick my hands down there and
 I'm gonna pull the baby out," Wiz Said
 
 After seeing a Ricki Lake documentary on child-
 birth,The Business of Being Born, Amber and Wiz
 decided that natural child-birth at the house was
 the way to go.
 "He doesn't like hospitals, I don't like hospitals,
 we feel like that like that's the place the people
 go when then die and I'm not sick. I feel like from
 the beginning of time women squatted and had
 their babies and that exactly what I want to do. I
 just want to go full throttle, I don't want no
 medication," Amber Rose explained. "We take
 home birthing classes to teach us how to do it,
 and we're gonna have our midwife and when the
 baby's head comes out he's gonna be Dr.
 Wiz. He's gonna be the first person to touch the
 child. No doctors, no gloves"
 "It's cool to learn about and then like learn about
 how important that connection is. I'm excited, I'm
 ready. I'm mean I'm nervous too, but its a good
 nervous, it not like a confused nervous like, "What
 do I do?" Wiz said.
 As for Amber's music, while the two have
 collaborated on music in the past, Amber says she
 will likely make some music soon, but isn't sure if
 she will have time given the demands of having
 her first child.
 "I don't know what its like to be a mom. I don't
 know if I have it in me to juggle that with a new-
 born, We'll see, I have fun with him, it's a blast, he

The club's official twitter feed quoted manager Steve Clarke as saying: "There is a disciplinary process in place to deal with Peter Odemwingie and it will be conducted privately."Earlier on Thursday, Odemwingie told Sky Sports News:"They didn't give me written permission but we are in England and when you are gentlemen you understand each other easily," Odemwingie, who was sent home from training on Friday morning. "I had to be in training that morning but when that was done I asked if I could go as I had to pack and start driving. I got the go-ahead from him (Ashworth) as far as I understand so I went round and said goodbye to everyone and thank you. In my opinion everything was done right. He can deny it because he has to look good in this situation. "I knew that it took two hours to drive to London and I had to be there because we were 90% there and then the deal didn't happen. We were almost there, the club were angry that I went there and it was on TV. They weren't angry that I went there, but when it came up on TV that's when they said that this deal is off and asked why did I did it. "My only regret is that I didn't have the paper in my hand before I went to London." While admitting that his actions had been "a bit unprofessional", he also claimed the circumstances were not that different to those that saw him sign for West Brom from Lokomotiv Moscow. "I came to this club (West Brom) in a wholly unprofessional way," he said. "I wasn't given any written permission by Lokomotiv Moscow but I arrived at this club. I did a medical, I don't think everything went so professional when I arrived." The club confirmed on Friday that while preliminary discussions over the saga had been "constructive," Odemwingie had been given permission to return home and will play no part in Sunday's home clash with Tottenham. "Peter Odemwingie is not in right frame of mind to face Spurs this weekend. It's in best interests of other players that he's not involved. (He) will return to training when we decide it is right," Clarke was quoted on the club's Twitter feed. Odemwingie, who has 18 months left on his West Brom contract, confirmed that he still wishes to leave the club for personal reasons. "I believe if West Brom brought me back here it is because they believe there is a way I can be back on the pitch and giving my best to the team," he said. "I will always love the club but I will still leave, it is just a matter of time. I understand the need to honour your contract but the club have known the reasons I want to leave for some time now. They feel I can overcome that, but they don't know my heart. "My contract runs out in a year and a half. I wasn't offered an extension here. My career ends one day and so will my contract here at West Brom."

 Another major musical divorce may rock the Nigerian music scene    soon, if emerging feelers are anything to go by.Rumours have it  that Wizkid has parted ways with the Banky W led E.M.E record label.
 
 On of the pointers was  his absence at the Lagos Countdown Concert on New Year Eve,  despite an excuse by Banky W that the young singer was ill, even as sources say he was in far-away UK, having a swell time.
 
  Wizkid, who parted ways with his long time manager and friend Osagie Osarenkhoe, in September 2012, is said to be dissatisfied with his contract agreement and sharing quota within the label.
 
 A major indication of the possible crack is that his Twitter Bio now reads, Management @DisturbingLDN@Godwin Tom with no mention whatsoever of EME Records.
 
 Although both parties are yet to put out any word concerning the matter, Banky W shut down these reports early this week, describing it as a mere rumour. In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying that Wizkid is still very much part of EME family. He also added that all Wizzy has  an international management and recording contract with British rapper, Tinie Tempah's Disturbing London outfit and Akon's  Konvict Records respectively.
 
 With various reports stating that Konvict music is offering the singer a more flexible contract they offer him, it is therefore unlikely that his anticipated album will be dropped on the EME imprint.
 
 Also, the 23-year-old superstar,  who spent the most part of 2012 touring Europe, Asia and America,  had at the beginning of this year acquired a house in Lekki, Lagos. The move  was been attributed to the fact that the singer had an argument concerning his new home and leaving his the EME label according to the unconfirmed report.
 
 If it is true that both parties have parted ways, it will no doubt be a case of another failed relationship which brings to mind other examples such as the Psquare/May D, Eva/ elDee as well as the Mo'Hits split.

 After a week of controversy surrounding her

 Spangled Banner" with no pre-recorded background

 "long-term" deal.
 Boss Arsene Wenger wanted to bolster his defensive
 options on the left-hand side, particularly in light of
 Kieran Gibbs' injury.
 The 26-year-old has nine caps for Spain and joined
 Malaga on a five-year deal from Osasuna in 2011.
 He will now link up again with former team-mate and
 compatriot Santi Cazorla, who made the same move in
 the summer.
 Wenger, who is believed to have paid in the region of
 £8.5m for Monreal, told the club website: "We are
 delighted that Nacho Monreal has agreed to join us. We
 have been monitoring him for some time now and are
 really pleased that we've been able to agree this move
 today.
 "Monreal is a strong left-sided defender with good
 experience at both club and international level.
 "He is a technically gifted player, a good crosser in the
 final third and strong in the air. Monreal will add quality
