Sixty-one Corps members were arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at a fake NYSC Camp in Tammah village, Nasarawa state.
Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Nasarawa State, Andekin Amos paraded the suspects, 44 females and 18 males, before journalists.
Some of the fake corps members, said they were part time students of University of Jos and other universities in the south-east.
It is the third such arrest in Nasarawa State. Fifty-four members were arrested in 2010, eighty-seven in 2012 and sixty-one this year. The fake corps members were said to have paid between a hundred and twenty and two hundred thousand naira for the illegal exercise.
