Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is to have a
medical at Manchester United in the next 48 hours.
Palace have given United permission to speak to the
20-year-old England international according to Sky
sources, although there has been no official
confirmation from either club.
Zaha will travel north with his advisor Will Salthouse
for the medical and to discuss personal terms.
The transfer fee will possibly be up to £15m and Zaha
is expected to remain with Palace for the remainder of
the season as part of the deal.
Zaha made his debut for the Eagles in March 2010 and
won his first England cap in the friendly against
Sweden in November.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a long-time
admirer of Zaha and last week watched him in Palace's
FA Cup third round replay defeat at Stoke, while
Ferguson's assistant Mike Phelan was at Burnley for a
recent Championship game
Arsenal had also been suggested as a possible
destination for Zaha but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger
said earlier this week that he was never interested in
the player.
