Henderson Diagnosed With Incurable Foot Injury

According to 90min.com, Henderson is suffering from Plantar Fasciitis which is caused by straining the ligament that connects your heal and your toes.

Henderson has sat the three previous months with the injury and has stepped up his training but the pain caused by the injury could return at anytime.

The injury is not a career ending one but will definitely cause Henderson pain for the rest of his professional career.


The captain’s former teammate and friend Jamie Carragher suffered from the problem late in his career.
Jordan said because of the injury “I haven’t been very nice to be around” as it has cause him  “not be himself”.

He added: “I worried about it quite a lot, I’d go online trying to find different things that maybe someone hadn’t seen. It’s not that rare, a lot of people do get it. It’s just a matter of time before it gets back to normal. I’m in the best place I’ve been with it so far.

“It’s hard not to be conscious of (the pain). I don’t want for it to come back to the pain that it suddenly was before. When I’m coming on in games, all I am focusing on is trying to play my best and give everything to the team.”
