As the music world
descended upon Los Angeles, California this past
weekend for the 55th annual Grammy Awards, the
Hip-Hop world came out in drones for music
videos shoots, parties, concerts and meet and
greets for the fans.
With all the speculation about Hip-Hop getting
snubbed at the Grammy's, you wouldn't have
noticed, given all the events and parties that were
scheduled throughout the weekend.
Kicking things off on Thursday, Ace Hood
performed at the Roxbury with a host of special
guests including Jermaine Dupri, Busta Rhymes
and Reek da Villian.
Friday night YG held a sold out show at the Key
Club, bringing out everyone from Young Jeezy and
Nipsey Hussle to Dom Kennedy and others.
Dom also showed his face at the Colony where he
put on a brief performance.
On Saturday YG continued to play host to rappers,
as he held his video shoot for the song "We
Playin," ft Young Jeezy, and Wiz Khalifa.
Also on the set were Sir Michael Rocks, YP, John
Monopoly and members of the T.I.S.A. clothing
brand, who distributed product on the set.
Saturday night, multi-platinum and six time
Grammy nominee B.o.B. held his concert bringing
out a host of artists including T.I. and Tiny, Nelly
and Playboy Tre.
Prior to Grand Hustle hitting the stage, Trinidad
James and West Coast phenom Problem kicked off
the show with respective sets.
Sunday night DJ Drama and Joe Moses turned out
Secret Sundayz, LA's premier exotic club as B.o.B.
and his team popped several bottles.
